Default gs 450 h engine oil grade

I recently bought a 2007 gs450h with 50k miles. The mechanic changed the engine oil. I read 0W40 on the receipt. When I went back home, I opened the hood and read that the that oil grade should be 5W40. My question is as follows: Is running the car on 0W40 instead of 5W40 going to cause any damage to the engine?

No its added protection on start up in the colder months so no worries. Its also possible that Lexus changed the requirements. I know from a local member that the 08 & newer h requires Synthetic oil for some odd reason.
