I don't know how this became a comparison thread-my fault lol!

I actually wanted people to tell me why to buy the car or why not to buy it.

I hate the fact that everytime I come in here all I read is something negative.

1. I blew my engine
2. Handling problem
3. Lights wont shut off
4. Clatter sound

etc etc etc ...

So, I wanted people to tell my their bad experience and good experiences.

I wanted to say thank you for all your help - some where more informative than other but overall I got a good understanding of the many issues of the third gen GS.

I just got another awesome deal for an 06 blue/tan 78k GS300 for 16k. I will just hate to buy this car without doing my proper research and regret it later. There are some issues that to some might not be serious but to me they would.

As pissed off as I am about what happened, an engine failure in a GS is far from the norm.

I'd drive both cars... See which one you like better. I will say that, IMO, the GS300 is a bit underpowered while the 350 is downright quick.

also, remember that on a forum, any forum, you're going to hear gripes no matter what.
