Am I the only one who thinks the car looks cleaner, newer with no tints?

No being a huge fan of police I don't like to give them any reasons to pull me over, so I dont mind not having tints. But if I did have them, I think 35% is a perfect.

I feel the same way. If I did tint it, I would do something really light, like 50% all around

On another note, my car is at the shop getting 35% Suntek CXP all around. Hopefully it comes out good.

Sounds like you need a new tint guy. I do remember the guy who tinted my windows saying that my windows were "repelling" his cleaner but he somehow managed to get off whatever was on there and my tint looks good. As far as the door panels go, I removed my panels before I took it to my tint guy not only to make it easier for him, but for my own piece of mind that they wouldnt get all f'd up. They arent the easiest panels to remove. Lots of connectors and other things to remove.

I have 35 all around. Black interior. Going to retint the back windows. 35 isn't dark enough for me. It's just the right amount for the front to avoid a ticket (from cen cal any tint in front is illegal, no restrictions on rear) and still have some tint. I drive past cops all the time with my windows up, no problems.
Front looks lighter because windshield is not tinted.

On my 2GS with tan interior I did 15% all around. On my Cayenne with black interior I just did 20% on the front to match the factory tint on the back. Never been pulled over. Knock on wood.
