Default Just checking...

I took my 7months old gs350 to a Lexus dealers because I have been hit in an accident, (100 % not my fault) for repair.
I was surprised to hear that when it comes to body work Lexus does not loan a car...!
Any similar experience?

Because lexus doesnt do body work, they work with an authorized shop. The only way to get a rental insurance company needs to pay for it. Keep in mind its not lexus fault your car is broken.

I had some "body" work done on my CPO and Lexus gave me a loaner for a few days. No, its not their fault but they chose to take care of it for me since they can mark up the services needed. Of course, I paid a higher rate than if i took it myself to the body shop.

...I even offered to pay, actually. I was disappointed.
Frankly, I my mind, buying a luxury car it means also to be able to drive away with a loaner when needed in any case. If they can do it when a "simple" checkup service is in progress...I wonder what the competition would do in te same case.
