I just had my driver's door actuator replaced in my 2006 GS430. Before it totally stopped working, I had noticed an increase in the number of 'beeps' when I unlocked my door using the key fob. Eventually, it just stopped working altogether. Now that the new actuator has been installed, the door still beeps 4 our 5 times when I unlock it. Is there something that should have been reset when it was replaced so that the door beeps only 1 or 2 times as it did before the actuator went bad? Or is this possibly a sign that another of the actuators is nearing its end of life? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated!
