Default Small Dent from Curb :( What to Do?

I accidentally parked too close to the curb and when i backed out, i guess something on the curb bent a piece of my bumper outwards.

Any advice on what to do? I tried a hairdryer for 20 seconds but it only bent back in a little? Maybe I was too quick with the dryer but Im just really pissed. Is this something I need a heavy duty heat gun on or could it be fixed with some patience and a hairdryer?

Can you show a pic? That may help assess the damage.

I would definitely hit it with a heat gun on low temperature, a blow dryer would take days lol

should i heat just that spot or the area around it also?

Im afraid though that if i heat the other areas, then when i push it in, the heated area will also cave in making it look dented inwards.

Any tips on heating it? how long i should heat it for? etc etc?

That's not bad at all.

On that one, I would just heat it lightly (hair dryer s/b sufficient) then take two pieces of wood, 1"x2" approx 6" long each and clamp them on either side sandwiching the bubble to flatten it out (probably will have to remove under-body panel) and leave it sit overnight. Might have to repeat for a few nights but should be fine then.

Good luck
