great info....close to purchasing a gs350 with 68k miles, so Ill include this when I have the 60k service done right after the purchase.

You might as well drive it for another 2K miles, and get the 70K mile service done at the same time - bar the plugs, it's all the same things as the 60K.

I'm an idiot, I forgot to plug cam sensor back in, hence the check engine light. Problem solved.

As for the spark plugs, I tried Denso Iridium Max performance and then switched over to Denso Long Life Iridium, I felt no difference. Glad I got the long life.

Smile Well worth it! Teplaced spark plugs at 80k miles on 07 GS350

Bought the iridium spark plugs (FK20HBR11) from Sewell for $65.70 along with other parts below.

Local trusted mechanic charged $200 to:
1. installed spark plugs
2. replaced PCV valve
3. replace drive belt
4. engine air filter
5. rear rotors
6. rotated tires

The drive is noticeably quieter, acceleration seems to be more confident and responsive (less sluggish), and the car seems to be just smoother when idling as someone else noted. I was surprised that even my wife noticed the car was quieter.

Overall, worth the money to have these things done at a reasonable price and not get ripped off by a Lexus dealership!

Good suggestion. I didn't think of it. Thanks for your help with the answers to the water pump on the other thread.

Great post bro. One question I have is. Why go with those sparks from autozone instead of the ones from the dealer? How much better are they and what's the price

it is the same spark plug as dealer just cheaper - still Denso brand. I think they were $8-$10 bucks each.
