dvd only applies to ML. sorry, but you can't play dvd.

 

correct, dvd playback only on ML cars

you can always do ipod integration that allows you to connect dvd player / ipod video. here's a post i did in the isf forum

if you want to go fancy on interface and quality, ml+ is the answer

Try this:

While in park, and with parking brake engaged, press's the 'AUDIO' button on the left of the console. You should see a series of buttons on the screen. Press the 'PICTURE' button, and you should get video on the screen. If not, there may be something else wrong. Btw, I drive an 06 GS430 with the ML system, no nav.

Oh I've tried that several hundred times... It does not have any picture. Sounds good though.. I'm pretty convinced there's an issue w/ my dvd player..
