Default Trunk won't open!

Hey CL!

I am the owner of a 2006 GS430. I went to open my trunk last night and suddenly it will NOT open for the life of me.

I used both the remote and the trunk button inside the car and still can't seem to get anywhere. Any thoughts?

THANK YOU in advance for your help, as always!

Look in your manual but I believe you can use the key inside your key fob. Mystery to me why the trunk button will not work.

could be someone playing around and accidentally lock the trunk preventing automatic open. Read in your manual, there is a way to do this and undo this. I think it was done using the metal key and undo with the metal key too.

+1 on this, thats what I think it is. The lock button in the glove box, you probably pressed it and just need to press it to get the open trunk functionality back.

Thanks for the info forum. I just had this problem today after putting gloves (of all things) in my glove box. Must have hit the lock button. Saved me a trip to the dealer.
