Not tax return (might end up owing) but with my bonus looking to finally drop my car with coilovers.

 

I wait til the last day(April) to do my tax because I owe Uncle Sam. If you're getting money back, you're doing something wrong. Always owe rather than wait for the return tax check.

I wish... I'm 31 years old... I mean, I'm not spending it, I'm reinvesting it. :P

I'm getting money back because I'm doing things right not wrong... we have something called the registered retirement savings plan which is a tax deferral system (I guess it's somewhat like your 401K). Basically, my refund accounts for getting all of the income taxes back that I paid during the year for the amount I invested in this account.

Retirement is a tough investment, you have to not only make sure you live long enough to enjoy one but you live your whole working life paying for something that you can't use for ages... just goes into a big vacuum of promise and hope. I just hope when I'm ready to retire we're not going through another one of these economic crunches.
