I have Invisible bulbs or silver bulbs for my turn signal and I did try to go with LED but didnt want to lose the courtesy blinkers so decided to sell the LED bulb and get the silver bulb. Those bulbs were pretty bright though, I have also changed my back up lights to LED and my Highbeams to philips crystal vision and my fogs to putco jet yellow. The DRLs are next going with LED White.

Agreed. The headlights on the 3GS are a big disappointment. The color looks almost the same as a halogen from the perspective of the driver's seat. Has no HID "feel" to it. Not to mention that it just isn't very bright. Really, that's the only gripe I have with the car. I'm too lazy to swap out lenses.

Alright, interim update:

A #3 phillips head was too big (at least my Crafstman model is). It really looks like the tool should be more of a star drive? If you look down where the adjuster is, it has a depressed cylindrical area and then to the side of that a geared piece that is curved. I pulled the car about 8'-10' from the garage door and marked the door with tape right where the lights were shining to start.

I didn't have anything long enough with a star drive end on it. So I went with plan B which some have reported working which is a #2 phillips. That worked as long as you remember how you are trying to engage that curved gear piece (you sort of hold pressure on the screw driver to help keep it engaged).

On the passenger side it is a counter-clockwise turn to raise the light up. But I totally screwed up my drivers side . I thought maybe it would be reverse (clockwise) so I started with that. I think the light may have just been going down a touch, but then I felt resistance, so I went the other way, and then it was doing nothing. I looked back down in the adjuster and it looks like the gear piece is totally stripped or I went off the adjustment range

So the driver's side is at least where it started and the passenger is up -- my preference anyway. I'll see tonight how it looks -- I had to quit to go out tonight with friends and then on a trip tomorrow so not sure when I'll get a chance to see if it's something fixable on the drivers side... ugh.

Yah i have those invisible bulbs for my front and rear turn signals too...gets rid of the "fried egg" look in the headlight and taillight housing.

But if you use 4300k stock HID bulbs, putting an led in the city lights will not look good, at least in my opinion. Right now I have garax 6000k and vled 5000k in the city light and its an almost perfect match
