Quote: sounds great imo. i dont see the point in spending hundreds extra on a mod that will be probably the same in the end!
Are you talking about the Mid pipe sounding the same before and after? If so the Mid pipe made a significant difference well worth the money in my opinion i highly recommend it.

A couple years ago I tried the Topspeed and while the materials and workmanship (welds and bends) looked great the fit was not going to work.
The tips were hitting the body openings and were too short,
I sent it back and they refunded my money.

I had a Tanabe on my IS before and was very happy with it.
I just ordered a Tanabe for the GS yesterday and looking forward to getting it.

In all fainess to Topspeed they may have solved the fitment issues by now.

just for look & sounds. that's it. unless u upgrade mid-pipe and all other goodie stuff down there, then it will gain some hp.

oh so you then pretty much gotta start from the headers to mufflers to actually gain any HP huh?

I tend to drive my car in s mode alot and have definitely noticed gain in performance with my intake mid pipe and exhaust at 4k rpms she starts really sucking air in and gains speed much quicker than stock
