This is when the gas prices dropped in the winter. We're sitting at 4.35 for 91. That price is for regular.

TWong350,

Thanks so much for taking the time to post up pics. They speak a thousand words. I was looking to do this on my LS430 before I totaled it. But I will be doing this to the girlfriend's GS350 and the pics you provided were exactly what I needed to see.

Default Cargo Box / Roof Rack

Hello everyone

I am a Lexus enthusiast considering the GS450h as my next car. The model I would likely purchase would be a 2007 or 2008 due to budget. I have owned the gen 1 and gen 2 GS300 & GS400 in the past. Currently I drive a 2004 Volvo V70R highly modified. I love its utility and especially the versatility in its ability to carry cargo (middle seat down, etc).

The question I have is whether anyone here is or has used a roof rack in conjunction with cargo box such as Thule or Yakima on top of the car. This might help in using the vehicle for longer trips (2 children) or in instances where it is necessary to carry longer items or suitcases from the airport.
The small trunk is the main hindrance to me wanting this car. Our other car is a 2007 Camry Hybrid with a small trunk as well so we are trying to avoid having 2 hybrid cars with small trunks.

Thanks,

Given that there has been no responses. I will add another question. For those who have used a cargo box on their GS450h, how was the wind noise and how much impact did it have on the MPG.

Thanks,
