Outside of the updated map DVD, What are the differences between the Gen 4 and Gen 5 Navigation

well foremost is the screen resolution is so much better among other things. there are alot of threads on differences and mine on how to switch to gen 5 nav.

So the res is better, good to hear.

As for the threads you speak of, I cant find them. When I search "navigation changes", "gen 5 changes" or "gen4 vs gen 5", I pull everything but what I'm looking for. I'm new here so i missed those discussions and there not easy to find as thread titles don't always give away whats in the thread as they go off topic.
