removing the exhaust tip as easy as pulling them off

Is removing the exhaust tip as easy as pulling them off? pressure maybe needed? and when i put them back on is the hold going to be just as good? thinking of doing detailing.

Forgive me if I am wrong but I think they are attached by screws.....

I was told they pull right off! But never tried this so can't vouch that.
