Parking Light Install - Problem

Was installing new parking lights, one light came out of the socket and fell into the housing then disapperared. Appears there is a gap in the front edge of the housing.

I was wondering if this ever happenned to anyone and if so were you able to retrieve the bulb without taking the bumper off etc... Thanks in advance.
