Quote: I love all u guys (pause) but I have to disagree ... If u have two 3GS same color, same rims and everything(stock) but one has 20s and the other has 22s(same rims), do y'all really think the 20s are gonna look better? Hell no!!! I mean, everybody has their own opinion, I think the biggest rims that u could put on ur car without fabrication looks the best.. That's just me, so u need to put those 22s back on cuz it does not look better by far!!
Thank you!! That's what I'm saying. 20s on this car actually looks kind of ricer like, and I know you don't want that look.

Respect your opinion but I would never brand you a liar!

I know you were just joking with that comment, but I felt that I should post something before you get too cozy with things around here! LOL

But it's all good!

Quote: Okay homeboy, I've been down that path too and I agree, the fitment and stance has to be right. Do it right or go home! 22s are perfect if done right. You should do it right as well. 20s are small and you end up lowering the car a couple of inches to achieve the same effect. I guess I see it like this, 20s belong on a smaller car like the IS.

Oh yeah, I'm not the cardomain dude homie and we both are in Md. You never know, I might see you some day, then we can talk about cardomain
Lol...I peeped your from MD bro, I aint hard to find Ill be at import alliance on sunday in Baltimore; http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=265789850101394 theres the link, and heres what I look like, come rap to me. You should bring the LS up that joint.

Quote: These people are lying to you. Go back to the 22s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 20s aren't bad, but there's no way in He_ _ that 20s look better than 22s. That's ridiculous.

I have to agree with ^^^But, you have to have the right stance to pull it off. I had an Acura TL with my current 20's slammed down and it looked good. I have a pic in my garage if you want to see The 22s are a better looking rim to me, my opinion.

Well, I'm definitely not racist. In this context, the word is used to describe wheels that look cheap or don't have the right fitment. I have no problem with low cost wheels but they have look and fit right.
That's the big problem with 22's on a GS. The car has smallish fender space. To run that size you gotta cut up your car. Can't drop it enough or at all and can't go too wide. If you're willing to do extensive, professional and expensive fabrication to make 22's fit right...and buy a set that looks right then it can be pulled off. The GS is kinda sleek so it has to be dropped so low to cover the top of the wheel.
To me, it's not worth the trouble.

The only Lexus car that can aesthetically handle 22's is the LS460.

I understand that to. I'd hate to have to cut up the car just to make the wheels fit.

+1 on that but i agree that it just doesnt look right the wheel quality aint right in the 22's. maybe some 3 piece with the right fitment. i like idea of 21's but sizes are limited. either or it all depends on the look you are trying to achieve. i prefer a moderate drop with my rims, if i cant drop it with 22's then its not worth it for me. there is a similiar topic with the ls on 24's. i would hate to be a light and someone pull up with the same car on bigger rims, thats a epic fail. just do it right. the 20's is a good look mainly because of the style not the size.

LOL @ this thread. if you have any type of understanding about wheels you'll know that 22s are too big. just because you can fit them, doesnt mean you should. no one is saying its wrong to put them on (trust me ive had them also) but overall it just doesnt fit right.
