i recently changed the spark plugs on my 07 gs350 but the plugs i used, suck! so i ordered my oem plugs from sewell. that all sounds fine. im a d.i.y'er alwys have been. now the one spark plug (located on front right hand side of engine, that is hard to reach) was giving me a bit of a hard time. i actually stripped the damn screw nut screw that holds the coil in place. now i dont know how to remove this damn screw! no 10mm will grab it.i didnt even tighten it that hard when i put it back! who knows what i can do to get that out of there. or how do i remove the black piece(not sure what its called) that is on top of the engine and makes that bolt hard to reach?
you may have to drill the screw and get a tapered bit with carbide teeth to go inside and unscrew it something like this; http://www.toolstoday.com/p-6071-bro...w-remover.aspx
found another link this one is more along the lines of what I was thinking;http://www.amazon.com/Alden-8502P-Gr.../dp/B000VYYOXE
also can try putting a wide rubberband around the tip of your screw driver and see if it will grip the screw and start to back it out good luck bro!!

Well if you can fit a socket over it, any kind then that is a start. Hit it side ways with a hammer, try to heat it up with something and try to loose it. You can also try wise grips if all fails but space is tight. Last option is go to a car shop that have the right tools for it.
thanks to both of you! i actually went to advance autoparts and bought an extension that allows the socket to wiggle side to side, that let it fit in there. it actually came out! just gotta go buy a new screw. i put the old one back in but i didnt tighten it up to hard so i can replace it later. thanks again. it got resolved.i was starting to get real nervous.
i also had removed a sensor to get access to the coil and replaced it, the cel came on along with the vsc light i took it to lexus and they said it would cost 120 just to hook it up to the machine!!!!!! rapist!!! i started the car a few times and it automatically went away. back to a new car!
