Default Can't find a black 08 GS350 with Mark L...is smokey granite mica decent?

Hey what's up everyone? I've been struggling for the past few months to find the GS350 that I want. I originally wanted the LS460, but I decided to go with the GS350 instead.

I've ALWAYS driven black cars. I feel like they are the classiest, most aggressive, and most "mafia" looking cars (don't laugh lol). However, the smokey granite mica color has recently caught my attention, and I can find plenty of 08's with the Mark L system in this color.

My dilemma...how do you guys feel about this color? Is this a masculine color, or do mostly girls drive it? I haven't seen that many where I live. Does it still keep the classy, "mafioso" look? Should I just wait for a black one to come around? I'm so tired of waiting around (4+ months now).

Thanks a lot for the input guys!

SGM is a nice color but be forewarned. Like the color black, dirt, scratches and swirls are evident if you don't be careful.

I love and hate my black paint It looks sick, for a day after you wash it. Then it gets all dusty... it's a pain to keep it clean, not to mention all the scratches and swirls you get. As much as I like black , my next car most likely will be white.

Does anyone know where I can find some pics of pristine SGM gs350s? Like chrome rims, tinted windows...those are about the only mods I do to cars.

Do you think SGM is as classy and bold as straight black/obsidian?

I had an 11 G350 SMG and loved the color, I wanted something close to black, without all the hassle. SMG, is a great color and I think you'll grow to appreciate the subtly and class of the color. I think its bit easier to keep going than black but does show dirt rather quickly.

Many can't tell the difference.

Get what YOU want. Don't be concerned how the car looks to others. 95% of the time, you are inside the car, not outside.

I was going for the same, but ended up going SGM and very glad that I did. No one will deny that when clean black cars look mint, but to keep them clean is a nightmare and they look like **** when they aren't.

I think you will be happy with Smoky Granite.

Here you go. You can also look in the wheel or modified to see more.

You can't tell if you like the color by looking at it?

My advice is buy the color YOU want, otherwise you'll always regret it.
