XM Radio
My husband and I always listen to our ipod in the car but after a trip to visit family out of town, we were asked if we has XM radio? We noticed the our 2007 GS350 does have the option, but we have not paid for any service. WE then decided to inquire about the service offered. Anyone have any idea how we should go about it? and maybe the cost of xm? Please advise....
welcome to clublexus.
i am a bit confused about your info on xm. what do you mean you have the xm option? do you mean "xm ready" on the sticker? do you mean the am-sat button on the radio control?
if you press on the am-sat button, does it always stay in am, or does it cycle through am-sat1-sat2-sat3?
most gs350 are xm ready, especially if you have shark fin antenna on the roof. however you still need to get the xm tuner and install it in the trunk to complete it, then you can get the code and call up xm to subscribe

I just picked up XM for $77.00. Hardware (and installation) cost $400.00. Granted, probably cost more then it should but it was a matter of convenience for me.
After about a week, I'm happy w/ XM. Not "jump for joy" happy but pleased. And at $77.00/yr + tax and royalties (totaling about $85), it's a decent buy.
