Default How important are pillowball mounts

Im going to be ordering a set of coilovers very soon and had some questions.
I have a 2006 Lexus GS300 AWD and i'm looking at a set of megan LP or EZ street coilers.

My question is this:

How important are pillowball mounts and what purpose do the serve?? the main difference between the two coilovers are:

EZ
- 15 Levels of Adjustable Damper
- Aluminum Brackets paired with rubber inserts

LP
- 32 Levels of Adjustable Damper
- Pillow Ball Upper Mounts.

I dont wanna spend a ton of cash but I don't wanna get an item i'm not going to be happy with. Any info would be great.

pillow ball mounts allow you to adjust the camber and caster of the shock by altering the angle of the damper.

their nice to have but not really needed. keep in mind they are full metal and it will actually make the car ride a little harsh because now you have no rubber inserts in the mount like a typical stock mount.

i think it depends on the design. when i had my 2gs, tein coilovers talked about the pillow mounts but they didn't have adjustment for camber and caster. i don't know what exactly is the difference here in the megan coilovers though

yea Teins coilovers dont have a fully functional pillow ball mount. I would highly doubt that Megans do either.
