Default GROM USB and XM

Hi everyone. I just got the Grom USB unit and did the install with no problem. After speaking to BinaryJay (Thanks Jay) a few time I felt the unit was stable and decided to try it. Anyway everything seem to be working fine except my XM radio. I piggy backed the plug that was in my radio to the harness they sent and plugged the harness into the radio. XM sounds fine until I plug the Grom box into the harness. XM gets very low and muddy sounding.

I was just wondering if anyone else was having this problem? If so what was the outcome?

I have a 06' GS300 with Navi,XM and ML audio. The Grom box has all 3 connections (USB,iPod and 1/8" AUX).

i know this is kind off of-topic, but do you see any improvements in quality over a regular CD using GROM? Is the bass and treble more clear...or degraded?

I really haven't noticed but I haven't been listening for it either. I will compare and let you know. The stuff I listen to is very bottom heavy and so far it sounds good.
