I believe there is a section in the owners manual that covers this. Don't have it in front of me so I cant speak directly to it but if you have the book I'd check that out.

mrblack, I think you are talking about reset the pressure. While OP seem to talk about the TPMs ID itself. I belief you need a tool to set it.

Yeah you're right. I just was reading around and it looks like only lexus/toyota can program the ECU for the new TPMS sensors? So everyone on here who gets new rims and tires has to go to the dealer to get it reset? Or do they transfer the stock tpms sensors?

After getting my GS serviced....The sorry a** Lexus Dealership that I went to, gave my car back to me with the sensor light on....after complaining that I drove for months with no sensor light flashing....the dealership told me that it was a worn out sensor and they wouldn't do a full inspection on it due to "aftermarket wheels." So I decided to take it to a regular Toyota Dealership where they "re-programed" my TPMS sensors. In other words just get it programmed at your friendly neighborhood Toyota Dealership....unless you have a True Customer Oriented Lexus Dealership where you live.

This sucks. At least toyota is a slightly cheaper option.
