Default At the drag strip!

My dyno operator and tuner was busy with the drag event this weekend so we couldn't get the GS tuned!

So I thought.. why not? Let's do it!

Very disappointed though, wanted to break into 13's! But these crappy Yokohamas let me down again!

1st run, wheel hop so I backed off!
2nd run, the car just bogged!

Will try again soon when I get new tires!

Enjoy the video!

Car sounds beastly, nothing like your typical Lexus. Damn did the Eclipse hook up and take off.

Car sounds great. The wheel hop sort of sucks but i'm sure you'll resolve that little problem. Next time you run, you need to make sure you're out when the green lights. It looks to me like you were about .5 second after green. As always, I could be wrong but it sure looked a little late to me. Good show

For something like this he needs a Bridgestone RE-11.

PS2s are not the best tire in the dry, but distinguish themselves in the wet. The new PSS will hopefully be top in both conditions.

Reaction times are not important when doing a test run. Your ET starts counting when you move and activate the first sensor.

Reaction time only matters when you are racing wheel to wheel in a proper drag race, where crossing the finish line first matters, not your ET.

Air/Fuel ratio is altered.
Fuel ignition timing is altered.

And there you have it. As I said, I could be wrong. And I am!
