Default Vsc light ...need help

My wife just inform me that her car light is on and i realize it was the VSC light ( Vehicle Skid Control ) if i am correct. The check engine and another light was on while the car drive normal. Has anybody had this issue? I would like to get your expertise before i bring it in to Lexus and get charge lots of $$$. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks !!!

By the way...should i take the battery out so it will reset? I haven't done anything yet but i figure i hear from the expertise at CL before i touch anything.

After doing a research, i will go home and check on the gas cap and reset the negative terminal. I think the wife didn't tighten the gas cap last night.

usually all the lights come on the check engine, VSC and another light if it doesn't go away when you apply the gas cap, and rev the engine you might want to take it to the dealer.
