that is good advice, but unfortunately i sold my oem tires (seemed like a good idea at the time). not looking to spend money on tires that i will only be driving on for only a couple of weeks. and my buddies did a favor for me by giving me rims to drive around with until my wheels were repaired. i can live with the temp wheels.

That's cool. I still have my original stock tires on my stock wheels. They still look new since I changed wheels 2 weeks after getting the car.
At least clean them up.

will do sir, when the weather cooperates. it's been raining every day this week, keeping those chrome wheels clean won't be easy.
