Default Hello/Intro and Wheel Question

Been lurking on the site for a month or so now, and wanted to introduce myself. Just purchased '08 GS350 AWD for the wife and Love the car! It's so smooth and just goes whenever you press the gas.....a LOT better than my Outback. This sites been great and I'm already planning the mods.

My wife's not used to driving in snow/ice and wanted to get some snow tires for the added safetly and security. Found some GS400 wheels (17 x 8, unknown offset) for sale here and was wodering if they will fit the GS350. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
John

Depends on the style, the GS350 has large calipers and big rotors so you need wheels that will clear those. I know you can clear those brakes (barely) with the 17x7.5 +45 OEM wheel off the 06' GS300

That style.

gs400 (08-05) will NOT fit on the gs350, won't clear the brakes

Since it's just winter wheels you could buy some steel ones. Ping BinaryJay - he is an expert on cheap winter wheels.
