i saw someone doing a 'group buy' for parts and installation of the dash LED conversion for 2gs. looks like it is available for 3gs as well. angel eyes and lit front emblem (coming soon) are also available. i definitely like the LED swap

i want that LED dash light conversion. i want it so bad it hurts.

 

Is that the one that replaces the original green dash lighting? I saw a thread somewhere where someone had replaced theirs with blue, which I thought looked great.

 

yea the led lights replace all the interior lights and come in just about any color you want. i like the idea but its way too bright imo

 

That would be a deal breaker ... but surely there's a way to make them the correct brightness.

Lower wattage LED's, fewer LED's, lenses, diffusers are solutions I can think of off the top of my head.

i thought you could already adjust the brightness of the display in the drop-down box to the left of the steering wheel. where you have all the hidden buttons (rear shade, odometer, mirrors, etc..)

 

lol. i agree. wish i had seen this while a friend was in Japan. could've brought back a few sets....i wonder how much this stuff costs?

 

ryan check out the gb in the vendor section. for everything i believe its like 300 bucks in the gb

 

Hmmm.. seems like my car already have all that.. except for the light logo and headlight. Everything else look standard.
