How do I keep the audio screen up without having to push the button?

[QUOTE=drexel99;5819352]I did a search and found a few threads on it, but no answers. Here is the issue - I want the audio screen to stay on unless I choose another screen. Right now whenever I make a call, or put the car in reverse and then drive, the screen defaults back to navigation (or nothing if I have navigation turned off).
This is really annoying and doesn't make sense to me. I don't use navigation every day, but I always have my radio on.

how about buying a new car without that feature?
just a thought

Sounds like your receiver works perfectly to me. I'll try put in Audio screen than the reverse see if it switch to Nav... but I remember it switch back to audio once out of reverse.

And y r looking at the audio screen? U suppose to keep your eyes on the road.

^what does it take to update this? is it the DVD/CD player in the glove box or is it the actual center unit? After getting my car back today I really miss the newer system. Gen 6, assuming that is what is in the new ISx50, is rather slow. Seems like its lacking memory and there is a lot of hesitation with it. Screens and features are much better but wonder why its so slow? Like how they call it "Lexus Ensure" now.

I solved that problem a while back by going to display and then going into settings and turned off the (automatic screen switch to navigation or trip computer). This allows me to select audio and the screen will stay there until I switch to another screen by pressing the respective button.

Default Audio Screen Disappears - Nav Screen Appears

Hi,
My problem is exactly what someone indicated earlier - I have a 2016 RX450h - and by the way, it's always good to be open to others - whoever said "why do you want to go back to the radio?" - he's a logical answer that you didn't consider...and there are lots more...I don't use my car daily here in New York City for obvious reasons - but on weekends I do errands with it - I very much would like to know the name of the same and the singer/musician - it helps me a lot to know this information.
Now that we're past that in terms of whether my concern is valid or not, let's move on...I'm sure there is a setting of some sort, because I drove to Georgia and this did not happen one time. For some reason it started the last two weeks. Let me know if you find a solution! Thanks!
