those lugs basically help center the wheel around all studs. but if the hub ring is good then it should center the wheel already?
They also allow you to thread further down the stud since they actually thread into the stud bore of the wheel where as the other ones only go as far as the wheel lets them. This gives you back some of the stud that you have lost due to adding the spacer.

^ where'd u get them lugs? i've been looking for those before, but couldn't find one.
This guy that worked at HP racing in Glen Burnie Md pulled out his lug nut catalog and found them for me not exactly sure what the name brand is. Google it our size is 12 x 1.5
