when I put my car in reverse today I noticed the black wedge in the right corner. I dont remember seeing it before. At least not that prevalent. I tried putting some post its on the edge of the trunk lid where the license plate sits and what I am seeing is the edge of the trunk lid but I dont think it was this prevalent. Do you guys have the same issue or wedge or is my camera needing to attention?? Thanks for your help guys

 

Mine looks the same. It's funny that it also took me a while to notice it (about 3 years).

yea I think I read about this before. I noticed mine do that after one my friends kinda slammed my trunk and my camera moved and I can't move it back so it doesn't have that black corner. I believe if I remember its part of the trunk from what I read and its a common issue for everyone down the road

 

Yes it's normal. I managed to add a wedge in the other corner due to my Laser Interceptor sensor being next to the camera!

 

I didn't notice the lower right corner until I read this post. It's the same for me, except mine is a white wedge.

 

Thanks for the replies guys. I was wondering if it was normal or what. I guess I have nothing to worry about. I put some post it notes on the lip of the trunk and noticed that I am seeing the edge of the trunk but wasnt sure if it was supposed to be that way.

Hey Tammer you have an eye for detail.....never noticed it until you pointed it out and so yesterday when backing out sure enough there is that wedge but mine is silver......

 

Its you bumper and part of your trunk lid... normal.

 

funny how visual neglect works. Something that was there for so long seems like it just popped up
