Default 3GS - Adaptive Cruise Control

Can the Adaptive Cruise Control be turned off? Can't seem to find the answer of the Lexus site whether or not it can be manually turned off.

Yes, you can turn it off. Once cruise is activated you push the stalk away from you. The stalk calls this motion "mode." The owners manual covers all of these details and I doubt they remove the Active section for people without this feature.
