^^^ PS2 is a high performance summer tire. It can be used in the cold but not recommended in the snow. People seem to be very happy with the all season PS2s.

^ Anyway, can't compare two different animal like this. Need to compare apple to apple, so PS2 is needed to compare with DW and according to Tirerack PS2 is better by a hair. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...y.jsp?ttid=120

While DWS is compare with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus, and Tirerack rate DWS is better by a whole head of hair. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tests/...y.jsp?ttid=124

Anyway, my car is a commute car so All season and best price is top priority. Sure in the summer DWS won't perform as well as PS2 but it'll get there for almost half the cost. Beside, cops been crazy with speeding so if U do "perform" that much than U'll get a huge ticket to support the state's budget.

Having had the PS2 they are a great tire, the best I have experienced. I would get them again. Not so sure I would put them on my GS.

I would rate these up with my summer PS2's. I know they say all season but I don't see these being good in the snow at all but I have dedicated snow tires/rims. Plus I got all 4 for $500. If you drive your car hard get the PS2's...

Those that want to upgrade from stock these are well worth the $$ and do a great job handling. I pushed the car on the expressway on Thursday and these tires grip good! All around a great tire. I can report back once a little snow hits if I still have the car and what they do. I don't expect much as the GS is the worst car I have owned in the snow. The IS was much better even when I had the summer tires on the car.

^ Was your IS AWD? I know my GS is horrible in snow cause it's RWD. I just take it slow.

Nope...I had an IS350 that came with summer tires. My first winter, in Chicago, I drove on the summer tires. I only had issues with my crazy driveway and the parking garage for my office at that time.

I have snow tires so its not an issue but interesting to see how a smaller/lighter car did better in the snow then this car. Maybe the weight distribution was better since the car was smaller. I had a 540i back in 99 and that was the best RWD car in the snow I have owned to this day.
