[QUOTE=IXI187IXI;5478222]to get it wrapped with actual cf it would be pretty pricey. if it was actual cf i would think the parts would look better. imo the vinyl cf just looks cheap. dont get me wrong. im not knocking your work because you did an amazing job wrapping the parts. its just not my cup of tea.[/QUOTE

even real CF can not stand everyday weathers, after a year real CF turns yellowish because of da clear..
look at the 3M material then tell me if it looks cheap???
don't knock it, until u see it.

yea ive seen some cf vinyl that looks and feels like actual cf, not dat long ago I was helping a freind out with his car, if the guy didnt tell me it was vinyl or when he lifted the hood I would swear it was actual cf. its like all things man made there are the cheap versions then u have the high guality versions, to each his own if u like thats all that matters

I like it. I wouldn't mind have the ISF trim in our car and also a titanium, black piano. These would all look nice in the GS IMO...

I have the wood trim. Hated it in the IS350 also. So how hard is the install? I sent an email to aerotech but they dont have any patterns for our car. I like how Mr Mark painted his trim but I would worry about it getting chipped....ect.

Dude I really like the CF film alot. Here's a pic of my car:

I think the black carbon fiber would look nice on my car. What do you think?

I was thinking of CF'ing the headlights, grill, and hood at a minimum. I also plan on tinting out the tail lights and maybe wrapping all cherry wood pieces with CF film. Does anyone have any pics or know anyone that's gone completely CF with their Lexus?

it does look cheap, ive seen it. also most quality cf products have a gel coat over them along with a uv coat to help it from fading. ive had cf hoods for years without any sign of fading.

like i said, not knocking to work because the wrap job is very good, im just not a fan on the product.

not a fan of unpainted carbon fiber, let alone a fake CF, but good work. Looks clean.
Just don't go vinyl crazy and do the roof, hood, and bootlid. that would be tacky as siht.

I think CF is real good, maybe on an IS or something sportier. I personally would go with Dark Chrome on the GS.

As for the interior, I don't really like the wood. If only there were dark brushed aluminum...
