Default Quick question about a GS300 and PWR

I started posting in this forum a couple months ago when I purchased an 06 GS430. It was a great car but after discovering some unforsceen issues, I decided to trade it in on an 06 GS300. I will be traveling alot more with work so the added gas mileage will hopefully be a worth while deciding factor along with it being a CPO car.

I took delivery of this car on Saturday and yesterday on the way home from the office, I accediently hit the PWR button while reaching into the console. After this happened the car quit accelerating and started bucking. I let off the gas and it started to accelerate but would not go over 30mph. I put it back in normal mode and it was fine for a second and started bucking again and would not go over 30mph...

Luckily since this is a CPO car, Lexus came and picked it up and dropped off a loaner. Has anyone ever heard of this happenning before?

Now that is odd. All PWR is supposed to do is change the throttle response (more aggressive) and have the car more eager to redline where the power is.

Very odd.

Wow...that's very odd. All that does is basically change the shift points making it feel more powerful by keeping you in a the powerband. Strange that you're experiencing this. Sounds like computer-type glitch to me.

I switch PWR on and off while driving all the time, there is nothing normal about what you posted. It went into limp mode probably because of misfiring. Didn't you get a CEL?

It was probably a coincidence.
