Could someone help me out and describe how to remove the oem side skirts?

You need to get under the the side skirt, try jacking up the car a little if its lowered or just lay down and look underneath. there's these little tabs that you got to pull them out with a small flat head. Then as the side gets loose, there;s soe clips throughout the inside that attach to the body of the car, pull them out slowly and don't loose em. good luck
