"Tomokazu Hirota's brand new AS Mori built Lexus GS350. The big luxury sedan is running a 2JZ swap at the moment but will soon be boasting a custom built monster-motor capable of developing 800 HP."

Nothing like a thousand stickers to make a nice car look retarded. But hey, when those stickers actually PAY for the car, it's forgivable. :P

Without the stickers, it's probably one of the better looking 3GS i've seen. 2JZ-GTE is definitely a nice engine.

Hawt hawt hawt! I've been waiting for someone to do this. Toyota/Lexus should just use that engine in every vehicle.

I can only imagine how many flashing/lit lights they have on the dashboard and how many things don't work anymore. Seems kind of a waste considering there are other car platforms made for better performance and are easier to modify.

if no one did anything different and we all went the "easy" route, we would all be driving cookie cutter cars.

Exactly. You'd just end up seeing the same 240sx drifting. Change is good.

Or they could have bored it out to a 3.5L

lol seems like it's just direct sway right now with not much other mods

it's interesting to see after a generation, you still see how the 2jz continues to be the benchmark and "reference"
