I just bought my 2007 GS450H yesterday and I'm absolutely loving it. I am a bit dissapointed at the limited browsing functionality of the SLI ipod adapter. I'm considering buying an SL2I to correct the problem.

Has anyone replaced an SLI with an SL2I? If so, were you able to reuse the SLI's wiring harness?

I am very novice when it comes to modifying cars and I'd rather not try to disassemlbe the dash if I didn't have to.

Any info, tips or other help is greatly appreciated.

i am not 100% but i think at least the ipod cable connector is different. might as well just move up to the sl2i-up for your car.

but to swap it out, you will have to take out the nav/radio unit though

I upgraded mine to the video capable version. The best answer is to contact them directly. They will be able to tell you exactly what you need to send back.
