Its all replaced with the new intake and pipe. If you look at my pic you will see the cone shaped filter. That is where your OEM filter box is located so you would remove that to install this.

Only thing that would allow you to keep the OEM intake box is either F-Sport intake pipe.

you can see just how similar the 2gen and 3gen GS are.

This is a pic of a GS400 with a S/C but the mounting points and everything are the same. The corner where my cone filter sits there is more room on the 2gen GS.

I really think this should work on the GS460 also but I have no pics to confirm this.

So does it really improve gas mileage or make it worse?

Injen is bolt on and go...This will give you some sound.

SRT is going to require a tune on your car. This is going to give you gains and incredible sound.

With the SRT I did not. I have a PNP harness for you to use a Apexi Neo. I stopped as I decided to boost the car instead. I will shoot you a PM...

wow that SC o the GS 400 in the pic is tiny. Doesnt look like its going to boost the car well but then again with a boosted luxury car less is more. You want a little extra under the hood not over heating and reliability issues
