yes there are pics, but i would say practically all of them are in japan. there's a thread on jdm GS pics that was posted recently, you can check that out to see how it looks.

edit: see this link for pics of hid fog on jdm GS...

Sweet...you're an accountant? I'm studying for my CPA right now. Once I get to your level, maybe I'll pick up a pair of JDM fog lights too!

that's funny. I picked up my lights today....I did NOT get a cover instrument panel for the DRL button.

I looked at my japanese instructions. According to the pictures the switch is to be mounted on the lower panel underneath the steering wheel. (lower right) there is a cover (dummy cover)...pop that cover out and the DRL switch pops right in.....

Weird......

I got a brochure just as you posted and i got a 7-10 page lexus manual install instructions IN JAPANESE ofcourse

are you able to scan a copy? my wife reads japanese (well, sort of).

let me know if you got pics, would love to take a look and maybe clear one of my suspicions

for the button, you probably won't be able to find a plug and play spot, coz' for LHD 3gs, this foglight is not even an option

from what i've been told, there are two different HID fog light kits from lexus - one is dealer installed HID, and the other one is factory installed. which one is which, i don't know, but it's good to know that is now confirmed!

+1 what rominl said about the DRL switch. my problem right now is trying to determine where/how to mount the DRL switch without cutting into any panels to make this work (i will do this but only as a last resort).

Henry,
if you look at your bottom dash the panel underneath the steering wheel. On the right there is "dummy" cover shaped just liked the DRL switch would go.

The Japanese instruction/manual I have illustrates...that is where the DRL button goes.

henry are you up right now? If you are still up...I will call you...

Ty

right side of the steering wheel? that rectangular vent thingy? nope, that's not a dummy cover. it's actually the cabin temperature sensor (i believe).

trust me, i thought about sticking the DRL switch in there too!

Henry can you clarify this?
According to this Instruction Manual I have.....it "Illustrates" that is where the DRL switch goes...

jdm and usdm cars are different. fogs are not an option for usdm GS, so the DRL switch won't fit there. see rominl's comments in post #52 above.

btw, you should scan a copy for rominl to look at, he'll be able to confirm everything that i've said.
