I took the car back to the bodyshop to likt the front lip into the proper position. They lifted it some and it does look better but they didn't lift it as far as it could go. The guy said he was afraid of damaging anything and having to start all over. He promised to take the whole front off, take his time to fit it exactly the way I want but he's rather wait until everything settles. Bullcrap. I ain't listening to that but I am trying to learn to keep my cool so I'll give him the couple weeks he asked for.
But he should beware, if he makes me wait and still doesn't get it perfect, I will be a monster.
Anyway, it looks a little better and here's a few pics with the front lip lifted.

I can tell you it looks much better in person. I can tell it was lifted on both sides because the cut line coming from the fender down to the lip is closer together now. But it isn't perfect. I just wish I had seen before I took the the first time.
Like I said, if he doesn't get it right after making me wait, he will regret it. I tend to get a little....more than a little crazy when I spend my money and it isn't perfect.

i was surprised to see that there are problems on the fitment of factory jdm kits, so i am curious, are they authentic jdm kits?

^ I dont think that's the issue. Its a shop that installed how they thought it should be and wasn't experienced, nor had pictures, to know where it should line up. I dont know maybe I am giving them too much credit but I think this is more the case here. Even if it was a knock off.

No, no it's not the kit that's the problem, it's the installers. When I pointed out the cut line running around the fenders and connecting with the lip, the guy is standing there with his mouth open. Even worse, when I told him there was still an inch of play left to lift the lip up, he didn't believe. I came back to pick up the car and the guyus is saying, you were right, there was room to lift it. I stuck my finger in there and toold him there is still more room. He tried to lie to me but I know the real problem.....he didn't want to take the time to fix me up right. I'm telling you guys, I will go flat off if he makes me wait and there is even one issue when I pick up the car next time. Just ask my wife, I will go flat off. I will throw crap over, kick stuff until they realize they should have taken care of me the first time....or even the second time. Hate to be that way but it works.

It's called Rob's Auto Body in Oakland Park behind the main post office.
The paint I have no complaints. They just didn't take their time with the install. In fact, I think they had one of the flunky shop boys do the install. They put on my last kit and I remember going through the same thing. I had to go back 3 times for them to get it right.
This is the last time I take my car to them for kit installs or exterior mods.
