Is it possible to add paddle shifters?
curious to know if it's possible to add paddle shifters to my '06 GS430? I don't use the manual shift right now, but if i had paddles i probably would. thanks for the input.

I think the practical answer to your question is no. Now if you have money and time to burn anything is possible. I think I would rather dump the car and get something new with paddle shifters . The loss on the car will be less than the cost of getting paddle shifters retrofitted to the GS.

lol.... its not expensive guys, not to my belief, if i'm correct, when you downshift it's like hitting/tapping a switch, tap into that line and u should be good to go, shouldn't u?

yes the idea and mechanism is not the complicated part. The hard part is integrating the system seamlessly into the interior and wheel design. That is very expensive. Jerry rigging it doesnt count. I am talking about the real deal paddle shifters

Hmmm you know the GS has 3 auto transmissions...
GS 350 6 speed
GS 450h CVT
GS 460 8 speed
lol....I can't lie the IS-F is a lot of paddle shifting but you can get used to it. The 6 speed shifters also felt like one too many to me.
Pretty cool the GS offers such advanced trannies.
