Hey Toney, you know how I am. After a while, I gotta change shoes. Too much toe jam in the old ones.

I have pics of my new wheels while they are being made. If they turn out as good as I think, I may not change again for quite a while.
Just remember when I had the Maya GR5 wheels(on the SC). I liked them so much that I kept them until I got rid of the car.

Thats so funny. am waiting for a set of the same tires. I have heard a lot of good stuff about the Michellin Pilot sport AS plus. I just hope it wont rub in the back because the section width is .44" wider than the old Falken I was running. I bout wire snips to cut the fender lip back if needed

Went with Conti's instead. They are a new model and will review when I test them out.

PSI should be 40, if you run 50psi your ride is ****.

any rubbing with that 295/25. I am surprised it would fit even though my tire guy said it was the widest the car can fit. Did you trim the fenders

I recently got tires and they set the pressure to 34 and the ride quality was soooooo damn nice, but then I raised it to 44 and it feels stiff as hell

Just as I was about to make the order for the Michelins, I wanted to read about the new Conti DWS. Turns out they are the same type, ultra high performance all-season. Then I read the tirerack testers reviews and they liked the Conti a little better. Then I read reviews of people who purchased and those were good. The clincher was the $350 (including shipping) savings for a tire that seemed equal to the Michelin in performance and slightly more quiet.
Add to that, I have a set of the Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus on the black300. I love them but the sidewalls are bulky causing tire dressing sling.

They arrived in 2 days and they look cool. They have a cool looking tread pattern and the sidewalls are smooth. Now I just need to ride on them.

Yes, I trimmed half of the fender and there is still plenty of room. I

I've only driven on the new Extreme Continental DWS about 25 miles since they were installed today but it seems the Tirerack testers were dead on target.
They are a little more quiet than the Michelins and seems qite sticky for an all-season tire. One negative comment by tirerack was the tire seems to require steering wheel adjustment to go straight at times. It's a teeny and minoe thing, heck....might even be the power of suggestion but I felt it. Tell you what, I prefer the Michelin performance but I also prefer the Conti quiet and cool look.

Day 2 and Ilike these tires even more now. That one little negative must have been my imagination. These babies ride straight and tru. Still not the raw performance of the Michelin but I'd take these any day.
