Default Another AWD lowering question.

Folks,

I want to lower my 08 GS350 AWD. My goal is to decrease the gap between the tire and the wheel well to a reasonable size. After extensive research I concluded that Tanabe NF-210 is the way to go. Sounds like DF-210 would be a little too low. I don't want to spend too much money on coilovers, etc.

Those of you running on either DF or on NF, how many of you have vibration problems? How bad is it and at what speed it goes away? Also, did you have to re-align the car after replacing the springs?

Are there any other reasonably priced options?

BTW, I have stock 17" rims and I am happy with them.

Thanks.

Take a look at this thread, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...sion-data.html

and yes, I believe you will need to get an alignment after a week or two

i was well aware of this vibration issue before i lowered my car, but i was willing to take that risk since i couldn't stand that 4x4 look.. now i really wish i had a RWD instead because of the vibration, but anyways.. NF210 might be a good choice for you, also consider F-sport springs..

fully agreed man. i have minimal if no vibrations at all on my nf's w/stock 17's(for about one more week). i couldn't deal with that lame gap. yang1815 just installed the f-sports on his awd. don't think he's has a single issue with vibrations. go for it...you won't regret it.

Thanks everyone. Looks like the NF210 is the way to go.
