Anyone Have Ipod Freezing Issues?

I recently had my OE ipod kit installed @ the dealer. My 4th Gen ipod freezes usually when i turn off/on the car. I would have to manually reset the Ipod then it will work fine until it locks up (about once a day) I have replaced the Ipod Nano with apple so i know its not the Ipod.

Any suggestions? Its driving me nuts..
