ok finally got really drive my car yesterday on these coilovers and its a rough ride, it keeps on bottoming out. i lowered the shock, so that means the strut was not effect since i didnt touch the height of where the spring sits. i have heard though that megans have a design flaw in them, where it can only go so low with out have problems. so if anyone knows anything about this issue let me know...
If you lower the shock body all the way down and have the spring adjusted higher it should help out. It gives it more room for the shock and piston to work. As for pre-loading, I'm not sure if you have to do that or not. I remember on the Omni-powers I had with the Civic I had to.
Looks good.....rear tires won't last very long though.
A lower offset would have filled out the fenders more to get rid of the sunken look.
The front tires wear more on the 3gs, I've only ever changed my front tires. And if I had a less agressive offset my wheels would show the negative camber more and look more sunken in....
A lower offset would result in a more aggressive stance, not more sunken in. I think you're referring to a higher offset.
I will be running 20x11 +32 which should be about the limit in the rear of a 3GS.
Ok I misunderstood your earlier post... yes I know that so I am looking into spacers but I like how my rear looks its the front that needs the more aggressive stance...
