Default Auxiliary Input in 2007 GS350

I was told that my 2007 GS350 has an auxiliary audio input. I do see a half moon opening in the rear of the center console, but it is covered by a piece of white rubber. Does the 07 GS350 have an auxiliary input? What is the hole in the center console?

2007 does not have aux input.

I just went ahead and got the OE Ipod Kit though.

My 07 certainly doesn't have one. At least I don't think it does. That would be cool if it did though!

Does the OE Ipod kit support the iPhone? Also, does this kit allow you to control the iPhone/iPhone on the Nav screen?

Dunno yet. Its getting installed as we speak

What they told me though is I will be able to see and control the Ipod through the nav screen (artist/title/playlist) (steering wheel controls) Which is good enough for me

Iphone = not 110% sure I heard it works but on the charging part is a bit iffy. But I plan to get a cheap dedicated Ipod just for the car anyways and just use my 3gs as a phone =)

Cool. Would you please let me know? I want to know for sure if the iPhone works on it or not and if it's controlled through the Nav screen.

Who's installing it for you?

Thanks!

yeah keep us posted. when i saw the usb port i thought (hoped) it's for ipod as well.

for example on bmw, it has a usb + aux. so either you use the aux, or usb drives, or ipod (bmw gives you a special cable using both the aux and usb to play from ipod and control through car)
