Recommendations for replacement brake pads on 06 gs300?

i just had a problem with my pads where they actually fell off the backing (dont ask me how, i've never seen it before in my life). long story short, the dealer wanted to replace the pads, rotors and shim for the rear and charge me like $750 for everything installed and thats just for the rear. They quoted me something like $150 per rotor she also said the shim kit was $60 bucks

i told her no thank you and replaced the pads myself. cost me a total of 75 bucks

90 minutes of my time and a job done perfectly: priceless


If you go to the dealership: figure at least $150 for pads front and back, $400 for rotors because they will try to convince you that your current rotors are in need of replacement and at least 2 hours of labor for another $250. you do the math, it is scary.
