First off I would like to say I love the third gen GS it is a beautiful car even in stock trim.

I am curious about a few things. I did do a search on google but was not able to find what I needed.

1) What is the compasition of the stock hood and trunk? Are they aluminum or steel?

2) There is a body line on the trunk. Is the bottom portion around the license plate plastic or is it actually apart of the trunk (metal).

3) How long is the bottom of the fender from the edge of the door to the wheel well?

To answer your question, I look to take on a new custom project for a family member. The answers to those questions will let me know if my plans are doable.

If there were as many 3rd gens as there are 2nd gens on the street, I would just figure everthing out. I rarely see them parked.
