Exclusive leaked 2010 GS pics
I think the GS 3 will hold up fairly well design wise over the years.
consider the competition too, the 5 series? Awkward, ill-proportioned, fugly cut lines, bangle-butt.
The RL, boring, kind of busy and too heavy
The M- tall, narrow, I think very dated already
E-class- nice enough, looks like a mercedes but their designs are not as timeless as they used to be
A6- best looking of the bunch, or toss-up between the GS 3. I think the Audi will wear better over the years
Cadillac CTS- nice try at being different, but not really good looking. i think it will age rapidly

the M35 was DOA. "dated on arrival".
that thing looked 4 years old when it came out
The GS will hold up well, but will get confused with other cars.
a few days ago, i saw another 3GS from 400ft away, and i thought it was an altima! it was dark colored though. so it was hard to tell.
Thats what I am talking about, I can tell a BMW from a mile away, I can tell a Audi from a mile away, the MB not so much but still is pretty unique design. Most of the Japanese cars look alike, well maybe the new Acuras looks different, but not in a good way. Who knows, maybe the new Lexus with those new HS grill will look like the Acuras. God, I hope not.

can't blame lexus for that.
nissan stole the GS shape ever since the 2004 altima.
flagrant theft.
PLEASE DO... This would look really great on the GS!!!

No sure if anyone has noticed, all of Lexus vehicles have exact same exhuast tips on them (since 1989), now even Camry and Avalon have them!!!

So it only took Lexus less than 20 years to update the design of exhaust tips!!! So they might as well implement this newly designed exhaust tips to rest of the lineup!?!

maybe if we start a petition, they might consider it.
If this is an accurate picture, all I can say is that whatever "focus group" liked this Acura/Fusion/HS grill must live in a cave somewhere. Maybe readers of this board just have it wrong and that "the world" loves this stuff, but somehow I doubt it.
photo is a fake, see his disclaimer near the bottom of his signature
and oh, welcome to CL!
On a similar note, the GS-F has been confirmed to scheduled for a 2011 model year release:
Since I doubt they would base it on a 3GS, this probably means the 4GS will be lauched around there as well...
Lexus GS-F is also back on
To make the LF-A supercar's 500-horsepower, 4.9-liter V-10 financially feasible, Lexus had planned to drop the engine into its next-generation GS sport sedan, launching in the 2011 model year
Unless Toyota accelerates development so as to tie the two cars closer together, the Lexus GS-F should go on sale about a year after the garden-variety GS, in late 2011 as a 2012 model.

I am a bit surprise Lexus is staying on schedule for a 2012 GS-F launch, there were plans to delay it due to the recession. I am glad they did not, this shows that Lexus is serious about competing in the Luxury sport sedan market.
